September 23, 1929 - August 13, 2007On Monday August 13, 2007 our family lost the dearest woman I will ever know. My grandmother “Nanny” was the only grandparent I ever knew and she was so special to everyone that knew her. Nanny made everyone feel as though you were a part of her family and for those of us who were family knew how very lucky we were to have her. I already knew that she kept family pictures, newspaper clippings and many things that were given to her but I had no idea at to the other things that she had and cherished that many people take for granted but Nanny never took anything or anyone for granted. Her faith and love of Jesus, family and friends was so evident in everything that she did. Nanny never met a stranger and she touched so many lives and I am so proud to call her my Nanny. Nanny will always be here with us in everything that we do but rest assured it won’t be the same but I know that one day we will see her again.
